Ingredients
Chocolate Coating
- 6 oz. dark chocolate, chopped
- 0.5 oz. Gulf wax
Main Ingredients
- 2 pints fresh blueberries
- 2 cups Cocoa Puffs
Drizzle
- 1/4 cup white chocolate, for drizzling
Other
- Ziploc bag, for drizzling the white chocolate
Instructions
- Melt Chocolate: Place the dark chocolate and Gulf wax in a slow cooker. Heat gently, stirring occasionally until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, ensuring no burning.
- Mix Ingredients: Fold fresh blueberries and Cocoa Puffs into the melted chocolate inside the slow cooker, making sure they are completely coated with the chocolate mixture.
- Form Truffles: Using a tablespoon, scoop the chocolate-coated mixture and place dollops onto a parchment-lined sheet tray to create individual truffle mounds.
- Cool Truffles: Allow the truffles to cool completely either at room temperature or in the refrigerator until set firmly.
- Melt White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate in the microwave until smooth. Transfer the melted white chocolate into a Ziploc bag and cut a small corner for drizzling.
- Drizzle and Set: Drizzle the white chocolate over the cooled truffles, then let them set completely. Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer for snacking.
Notes
- For a firmer texture, chill the truffles in the refrigerator before serving.
- Be careful when melting chocolate to avoid overheating and burning.
- Gulf wax helps stabilize the chocolate coating to keep it smooth and glossy.
- Store truffles in an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent moisture absorption.
- If preferred, the white chocolate drizzle can be substituted with dark chocolate or omitted.
